Elwyn's Mysterious Funeral

Out of Print...Welsh History Project For Children... Elwyns home is a small farm called Tynbedw. His parents are poor and there is little to amuse him except his favourite hiding place in the sycamore tree that overlooks the farmyard. This tree is like another world to Elwyn. From its branches he can see far into the distance. One night an innocent game near the railway takes him to strange places. Ray Evans is from Llanybydder, Dyfed. She was educated at Llanybydder County School and at the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth prior to teaching Welsh as a second language to children in Cardiff and Barry. She won the Literature Medal at the National Eisteddfod in Fishgirnrd for Y Llyffant. She is also the author of 'Cynffon Anti Meg' in the Corryn series.
