Audio-Typing: A Progressive Course

This course takes you from simple sentences to advanced audio-typing through a graded course of dictation material. The number of dictated words for transcript is given for each section so that the production speed may be workedout - this should increase as the course progresses. Preliminary work on the spelling and meaning of words precedes each unit of work. The aim of the courses is to teach audio-typing for commercial purposes and to prepare students for Pitman, CSE, RSA and Scottish examinations in audio-typing. Day release and evening class students should be of RSA Stage 1 typewriting standar. The course may be intergrated with typewriting for full time students. All the dictation passages are displayed in the book for ease of checkinq. The fully blocked, open-punctuated method of display has, in the main, been used in the course.
