Walking The Pembrokeshire Coast Path

The quality, beauty and largely unspoiled nature of the southwest Wales coast has long been recognised, and the opening of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path in 1971 brought incomparable opportunities for walkers to view the varied scenery and wildlife along its length. Written to fill a gap in the type of book available on the Coast Path, Walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is designed to fit an anorak pocket, and sold at a price which can be regarded as a 'write-off' after 170 miles (274 km) and 13 days of varied weather. It aims to provide 'popular' information, for the most part of a less technical nature, which is in demand by a large number of people walking the path. The path is divided in thirteen stages, all of which can be walked in a full day, some in less than a day. Appendices list useful information about each stage, such as the distance in miles and kilometres, the approximate number of hours required to walk the section, access points, and the addresses and telephone numbers of Youth Hostels en route and Information Centres.
