Out of Print...Welsh History Project For Children... Rare Title-Last Copy... In 1415, Rhys, a young boy from the commote of Ystradfellte in the Lordship of Brecknock, is forced to serve in the troop of his fathers overlord, Dafydd Gam, who leads the men of Brecknock on the hazardous journey to join the army of Henry V in the south of England. They set sail for France where the fortress of Harfleur awaits them, and then onto Agincourt. Nansi Selwood, a native of Penderyn, still lives there on a farm which was part of the estate owned by a descendant of Dafydd Gam. After graduating in History at the University College of South Wales, Cardiff, she then taught in Cardiff, Pwllheli and Ahercynon. In 1988 her Welsh novel 'Brychan Dir' won the Welsh Academy Award for the best book published in Welsh during the previous year. Other titles in the series: 'The Dark Land' by Marion Eames 'Smoke in the Tunnel' by Sian Lewis 'Invasion!' by Bette Meyrick 'A Shilling for the Gate' by Mary John 'The Prince and the Cave' by Frances Thomas 'Miracles and Rubies' by Clara Cooper 'Justice!' by Bernard Evans 'Warrior Priests' by Hilma Lloyd Edwards 'Elwyn's Mysterious Funeral' by Ray Evans 'The Copper Crust' by Mair Wynn Hughes 'A Glimmer Of Light' by Irma Chilton 'The Mute Horseman of Dragon's Bay' by J.
